Throughout his career, Mr. Singhal has worked in North America and Europe, and has held positions of increasing management and executive responsibility with multinational companies including Henkel, Cognis (now BASF), Rohm & Haas, The Dow Chemical Company, Ashland, Solenis, and General Cable. Prior to joining Chroma Color, he most recently served as President for the DSM’s Engineering Materials business. He holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Drexel University, a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, and also completed the Global Marketing Management Program at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Shruti also serves as an independent Board of Director for Neenah, Inc. (NYSE:NP).
Matt Barr is Vice Chairman of Chroma Color Corporation. Matt was previously Chairman & CEO of Carolina Color, a successful, family-owned business founded in 1967. The company produced colorant for the plastics industry from facilities in Salisbury, NC and Delaware, OH. Carolina Color has enjoyed a well-earned reputation as a proven innovator having introduced several market-disrupting colorant delivery technologies that have reshaped the entire industry over the last decade. Matt Barr also has served on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Manufacturers ( NAM ), Chairman of the Novant Health Rowan Medical Center Foundation and a Trustee of the Rowan-Cabarrus Community College both of which are in Salisbury, NC. Prior to joining Carolina Color, Matt enjoyed a decade-long career at Time Inc. in a variety of sales and publishing management positions—his last being Publishing Director of Sports Illustrated Presents. Matt earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Columbia University and has completed executive education courses in Finance at Kellogg School of Management and in Publishing at Stanford University.
Previously, Bishop served as Director, Global Business Development at Technimark LLC, an industry leading custom injection molding and contract manufacturing focused on global brand owners. During his 13 year career at Technimark, he was instrumental in developing new go-to-market strategies and growth platforms for consumer packaging and consumer products that resulted in more than $200 million in new business for the company. Prior to joining Technimark, Bishop enjoyed a successful sales and business development career in the plastic raw materials sector with an emphasis on color concentrates, pre-colored compounds and elastomeric materials.
His career started as a manufacturer’s representative and he ultimately founded and managed a specialty resin sales, compounding and distribution company that was sold in 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Studies from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Laura Glascoe joined the Chroma Leadership team in August of 2021 as the Vice President of Supply Chain. Laura has spent almost 30 years, primarily in the Compounding industry. She has held a variety of roles in Product Stewardship, ERP Implementation Management, Sales, and Supply Chain She has worked for large and small companies including MA Hanna (subsequently PolyOne and Avient) as well as Oatey. Laura most recently served as Vice President of Supply Chain for Gabriel Performance Products which was acquired by Huntsman Advanced Materials in 2021. Laura received her bachelor’s degree from Tiffin University in Business Management with a concentration in Organizational Development
Jim graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree and has worked in the plastics industry for over 30 years. Jim started his career with the Teknor Apex Company where he focused on Total Quality Management, color-match turnaround, technical support, customer service, and department profitability. He gained valuable experience in thermoplastic production and laboratory process equipment involving color concentrates. After leaving Teknor, he went to work for PolyOne (now Avient). While at Polyone, Jim led lab team members in the development of masterbatch formulations in PET, Polyamide, Polyether Imide, Polycarbonate, Polysulfone, Polyphenylene Sulfide, Polyacetal, EMAC copolymers, Ionomers and other engineered thermoplastics. Jim also was instrumental in successfully integrating the acquisition of Wilson Color to PolyOne. Jim led teams to specify and purchase required lab equipment as well as other critical lab support activities. Jim’s efforts helped improve the technical competence and reputation of the location he was assigned which resulted in being awarded the Global Center of Excellence for laser marking (Fastmark™) and PET (ComPETe®) product lines. Most recently Jim was with Penn Color. In addition to his degree from the University of Massachusetts, Jim completed graduate level pre-requisites for Clemson’s MBA Program. Jim also served as a member of the Army National Guard. Jim is an accomplished professional in the plastics industry having co-authored “Color: Its Principles, Measurement, and Control”, Plastic Additives and Modifiers Handbook (1990) Van Nostrand Reinhold, New York, New York as well as attending advance courses in “Color Science for Engineers” at Rochester Institute of Technology’s Munsell Color Laboratory.
